Project Overview

City & Hackney Mind needed a new website to promote mental health support groups and courses effectively. We built a WordPress site with an integrated calendar for easy event promotion. The platform allows the team to independently update content and manage events, enhancing their capacity to reach those in need while maintaining a low operational cost.

  • Abstract

Project objective.

The objective was to create an accessible website that publicised mental health support services and courses, while being easy for the team to update. We chose WordPress for its user-friendliness, empowering staff to manage content and calendar listings independently. This allowed City & Hackney Mind to focus resources on their programs rather than website maintenance.

Building the mental health charity website.

We designed a WordPress website with a built-in calendar, allowing City & Hackney Mind to promote mental health courses and groups effectively. WordPress’s intuitive CMS enables staff to update the site without technical skills, ensuring sustainable management of events and resources. Recognising their budget constraints as a charity, we provided a cost-effective solution, reinforcing our commitment to helping organisations with a social impact. This platform has strengthened their ability to connect with those who need their services most.

We continue to maintain the site, supporting the team with any ad hoc requests and providing secure and sustainable hosting.
