We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team and get stuck in with a range of exciting clients. You’ll have at least two years working in a professional environment, whether it is in-house or in an agency. You don’t need to have a qualification, but this is not a graduate or new starter position.

 

The role

The candidate we will hire needs to have at least two years of experience in a professional role (who may or may not have a qualification). This is not a graduate or new starter role and it will only fit someone with experience working in a wider team, whether in-house or at an agency.

We are looking for a developer with experience in Laravel who will be involved with a number of our client accounts. You will work alongside designers, junior and senior developers and account managers.

It is crucial that you have excellent attention to detail, a positive and proactive attitude and can use your initiative. Furthermore, we need someone who is a strong communicator, internally with members of the team, and externally when speaking to clients.

 

Key skills:

  • Professional experience in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and ideally Alpine.js)
  • Experience with Laravel (and ideally Livewire)
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Tailwind
  • Willingness to learn new to work across the different platforms and solutions we offer
  • MySQL and a good understanding of Relational Database Systems
  • Git source control

Salary and benefits

  • Hours: 40 hours
  • Salary: circa £30-40k a year depending on the experience and candidate
  • Location: Coggeshall, Essex
  • Training support: an annual personal training budget
  • Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
