The NEEB project was a great opportunity for us to bring a range of techniques to deliver a bespoke layout and setup to minimise the energy requirements.
In addition to being sustainable, like all of our websites we also ensured the solution was extremely fast, secure and worked exceptionally well on mobile devices.
Our sustainable website focus
Many companies do not yet recognise the incredible energy waste created by the internet and poor website design. Our team are proud to work with clients who share our vision for a cleaner internet – providing website excellence, without requiring higher amounts of energy to function.
We fully believe that having a great website should not require a trade-off and that good design means bringing sustainable low-usage solutions into the conversation.
WCAG 2 AAA Accessibility
Many of our customers are now outlining a clearer focus on accessibility and ensuring their website is easy for people with a range of specific needs to use. As part of this project, we also met the highest standards of web accessibility (AAA) for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 guidelines.
The guidelines have been developed through the W3C process in cooperation with individuals and organisations around the world, with a goal of providing a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organisations, and governments internationally.
