Client: Suicide&Co

Suicide&Co already had an iOS app offering resources, guidance, and support for those coping with loss through suicide. However, they recognised a significant gap: a large proportion of their audience use Android devices, and without an equivalent app, many people couldn’t easily access the same level of support.

The charity needed a trusted digital partner to help bring their app to Android, ensuring it was reliable, accessible, and could scale with their growing services.

Our approach.

Collaboration: we worked closely with the Suicide&Co team to understand the needs of their users and the app’s core features.

Platform development: we built an Android version of their existing app, ensuring feature parity while optimising the experience for Android devices.

Technical delivery: we ensured the app was secure, lightweight, and capable of being updated as the charity continues to expand its content and services.

 

Results & impact.

The new Android app is now live on the Google Play Store, providing thousands more people with a supportive companion always available on their phone.

We worked to a very tight timeline to ensure the app was delivered in time for World Suicide Prevention Day, maximising its impact and aligning with the charity’s vital awareness work. This milestone not only extended Suicide&Co’s reach nationally but also demonstrated how digital tools can provide meaningful, timely support to people when they need it most.
