Anglian Urology Associates, or AUA, is, a private urology practice based in Essex. They required a professional online presence to reflect their team’s expertise, make it easy for patients to find information, and enable smooth appointment enquiries. They also wanted to showcase the breadth of their experience and services they provided.

The main challenge was to design a website that felt approachable while maintaining a high level of professionalism, especially given the sensitive nature of urology services. Our approach.

We built the new website on WordPress using our custom Lark framework, ensuring a lightweight, flexible foundation. The design approach focused on creating a calm, reassuring feel with soft colours, clear typography, and simple navigation paths.

Key steps we took included:

  • Building custom flexible blocks to allow the team full control over page layouts without heavily relying on external plugins
  • Integrating strong SEO foundations, including clear heading structures, metadata, and fast page load speeds

Furthermore, the site architecture was designed to support both immediate needs and future expansion, allowing for the addition of new services or procedures with minimal effort.
